On/off button
This on/off switch powers all pedals with a single action, saving valuable setup time during studio recordings, performances, and rehearsals. Switching off the pedals when not in use extends their lifespan.
The button is safely positioned within the enclosure to prevent accidental presses. We use premium Swiss-made electronic components, each one hand-soldered to ensure unmatched quality and the highest possible durability.
Hand-soldered components
All electronic components are hand-soldered with precision and care, ensuring the highest quality and reliability. This meticulous process guarantees that each connection is secure, offering superior performance and durability compared to mass-produced alternatives.
Quick connection for power supply, di-box or ear monitors
Introducing our innovative pedal mounting brackets system, designed to enhance the versatility of your pedalboard. This system allows you to add any power supply underneath the pedalboard without the need for drilling holes. With two mounting brackets included, you can use one for your power supply and the other for a DI box, in-ear monitor transmitter, or any other essential gear. Upgrade your setup with this seamless solution that offers flexibility and convenience for every musician. The Dark Light Series allows for the mounting of any device with a height of under 8 cm, making it compatible with most power supplies and DI boxes.
Low profile design
All our pedalboards are made with a low-profile, perfectly angled design to provide the most comfortable access to your pedals. This setup lets you easily reach pedals on the bottom row while keeping your heel grounded, enabling smooth and effortless operation during performances. To achieve this, we crafted the pedalboard from thick aluminum to provide the necessary strength on its own, without folded edges. Additionally, we designed custom rubber feet, precisely angled for the pedalboard, that stay securely attached. The end result is an exceptionally low-profile and durable pedalboard.
Bigger Grip Area
We understand the importance of preventing pedals from sliding. That’s why Major Dynamics has designed custom feet with 8 times more floor contact area compared to regular rubber feet. The larger feet give your pedalboard superior grip, keeping it securely in place during performances. These pedalboard feet are specifically designed and tested to provide excellent traction on covered plywood, hardwood floors, and carpeted surfaces, ensuring reliable performance on any surface.
Flat Back Keeps Your Cables From Breaking
Our pedalboard's flat underside offers significant advantages over designs with turned-in sharp edges. If your cables are loosely draped over turned-in edges, they may get caught on something during transport. If the cables are tight, over time the sharp edge may damage them. The flat surface allows for straightforward and organized cable routing, making it easy to run cables smoothly without obstructions. With our flat-back design, you achieve a clean, efficient setup that enhances both functionality and aesthetics. Dark Light Series pedalboards come with four cable organizers that can be placed wherever you prefer, allowing for a customized and tidy setup.
Better heat distrbution
In hot summer conditions, hook-and-loop tape adhesive can loosen and peel off, putting your pedals at risk. Our pedalboards are crafted from thick aluminum, which distributes heat evenly across the board and minimizes the risk of adhesive failure. This durable design keeps the tape securely in place, ensuring your pedals stay exactly where you need them.
